CONFLOW
CFA
Chloride Free Accelerating Admixture
Introduction
CONFLOW
CFA is a unique chloride-free accelerating admixure which is ideal
for increasing rate of strength gain and it offers the effect of
low temprature by accelerating the rate of setting, strength gain
and heat evolution.
Work can be continued under adverse weather condition of the concrete
and without fear of chloride corrosion.
For concrete and work made to fixed workability the plasticising
action of CONFLOW CFA enable a reduction in water
cement ratio. CONFLOW CFA gives increased rates of production due
to the higher early strength of the concrete. CONFLOW CFA is pale
white coloured liquid based on inorganic substances and blend of
accelerators.
APPLICABLE STANDARDS: IS 9103, ASTM 494-C,
BS 5075, TYPE IV
ADVANTAGES
1. Reinforcement will be free from chloride corrosion.
2. Accelerate the rate of setting and strength-gain.
3. Reduces water / Cement Ratio.
4. Protection against frost damage.
5. Useful for cold weather concreting.
6. Ideally Suited for Precast Production.
COMPOSITION:
PURPOSE: To accelerate the setting and hardening of concrete.
Useful in cold weather concrete working and emergency repair work.
