Epoxy Based, Self Levelling Floor Screed

Introduction

TOP SCREED- SL is a premium product with blend of solid epoxy resin with selected hardner of polyamide base. The product is designed for a multipurpose use with wide range of application for various needs of the clients for asthetic, decorative & hardwearing floor. The product is designed to provide impervious, hardwearing seamless floor finish, which is hygienic & easy to clean. Along with this is resistive to wide range of acid, alkalis salts & solvents. Ideally suited for hospitals, food industry, pharmaceutical plants, electronic assembling units & laboratory areas. The product can be applied at the thickness of 2 to 4 mm thickness. The three-part system consists of resin, hardner & graded aggregates, pre weighted & packed.

PHYSICAL PROPERTIES:
(1) Compressive strength - 850 KgCm2 at 7 days.
(2) Flexural Strength 20 N/mm2
(3) tensile Strength 20 N/mm2
(4) Application temperature 5°C to 40°C
(5) in service - 15°C to 70°C.

Application Guidelines

1) Concrete surface should be 28 days old prior to application of Safe Coat 2, or moisture content below 5%.
2) Clean the surface properly ensuring that there is no dust laitance, grease oil or other contaminations.
3) Defective concrete or potholes should be repaired with Conbond EP paste or Conpatch EM.
4) Primer the surface with Safe Coat Primer 2 & allow the primer to dry before the application of the product.
5) TOP SCREED SL is supplied in three components. First mix the resin & hardner in a big container preferably 20 kg drum with a drill with paddle attachment. Then add aggregates slowly & mix thoroughly for about 3 to 4 minutes.
6) Apply the product by serrated trowel screed box. Use spike roller in order to de-aerate it.
7) Curing time of minimum 24 hours for light foot tariff & 7 days for full cure.

Packing and Coverage

PACKING: The product is supplied in12.5 kg pack consists of resin, hardner & aggregates.
COVERAGE: 12.5 kg pack covers approx 35 to 40 Sq.Ft at 2 mm thickness.

Shelf Life

12 months if stored in cool & dry condition in shaded area in factory sealed containers.
