TOPSCREED - ULTRA
EXTRA CHEMICAL RESISTIVE EPOXY SCREED

Introduction

TOP SCREED- ULTRA is fast curing 100% pure blend of epoxy resin & selected hardner to give exceptionally tough, abrasive resistance floor along with resistance aggressive chemicals. The product is best suited for chemical industry, dying & printing units, pharmaceutical units where heavy trolley & foot lift movement the product can be applied at varying thickness oh 4 mm to 10 mm.

APPLICABLE STANDARD: IS 9197, ASTM 881 TYPE II

PHYSICAL PROPERTIES:
(1) Pot life 30 to 40 minutes at 30°C.
(2) Light foot traffic 12 hours.
(3) Heavy traffic & trolley movement 36 hours. Full cure 7 days at 30°C.Strength.
(4) Application temperature 10°C to 35°C.
(5) In service temperature 25 to 75°C.

Application Guidelines

1) Concrete surface should be 28 days old or the residud moistures should be below 5 %.
2) Concrete surface should be clean & free from any dust, grease, oil, laitance or any other contamination. Any potholes or defective concrete should be repaired with Conbond EP paste or Conpatch EM. Steel surface should be properly sand blasted & made free from any corrosion.
3) Than apply Safe Coat Ultra primer. Allow the primer cure by sprinkling fine silica sand at nominal rate. Allow the primer to cure for about 4 to 6 hours depending on temperature.
4) Mix the base & hardner in a separate container with a drill paddle attachment, than slowly add the aggregates & mix for at least 3 minutes.
5) Apply the mixed material using screed box or steel screeding bar, ensure good compaction 7 finishing. Over compaction is not advisable it may lead to black marks & spot on the floor.

Packing and Coverage

PACKING: Top Screed ultra is supplied in 25 Kg packs consisting of base, hardner & graded aggregates.
COVERAGE: A 25 kg pack ideally covers 4.5 m2 at 4 mm thickness.

Shelf Life

12 months if stored in cool & dry condition in shaded area in factory sealed containers.
