General Purpose Epoxy Putty/Paste

Introduction

CONBOND EP Paste is a general-purpose thixotropic solvent free, low odour epoxy putty/ paste. The product can be used for multi purpose use with bonding to almost all-common building material. The product has a high level of mechanical interigritily & shows good bonding capacity even in damp condition. The product can also be used as repair mortar for fill potholes & crack in floor surfaces as well as walls. The product has an excellent thixotropic property, which makes the application very easy.

PHYSICAL PROPERTIES:
(1) Pot life 45 to 50 minutes at 30°C.
(2) Touch dry 3 to 4 hours at 30°C.
(3) Hard dry 10-12 hours at 30°C.
(4) Full chemical resistance 7 days.
(5) Compressive strength 75 N /mn² at 7 days, tensile strength 20N/mn².

Application Guidelines

1) The surface should be sound clean & free from dust, laitance, grease & other contaminations. The surface should slightly rough if it's very smooth.
2) Steel or other metals should be wire brushed or grit blasted & free from dust.
3) Mix base & hardner by a drill with suitable paddle attachment.
4) Apply by stupla, trowel or serrated trowel; finish with tin sheets or stupla properly.

Packing and Coverage

PACKING: Cond Bond EP paste is supplied in 1 kg & 5 Kg pack.
COVERAGE: 1 kg covers approx 0.70m2 at 1 mm thickness.

Shelf Life

At least 9 months if stored in a sealed container in dry & shaded condition.
