CONBOND
SBR
Introduction
CONBOND
SBR is a modified polymer emulsion specially designed for use as
a bonding agent to modify cement mortar/concrete.
It is useful for repairing distressed R. C. members and to modify
mortars as waterproofing and flooring render. CONBOND SBR is the
recommended primer for the cementiitious repair system. CONBOND
SBR provides excellent bond to concrete plaster and masonry. It
is compatible with all types of hydraulic cements CONBOND SBR improves
tensile and compressive strength which allows thin section application
it is also used as curing membrane having 55% efficiency. CONBOND
SBR can also be used as an admixture for grouts or concrete. CONBOND
SBR is a white styrene emulsion polymer with perfect blend of co-acrylics.
It acts as a bonding agent for cementitious systems.
APPLICABLE STANDARDS: ASTM 1059 TYPE II
ADVANTAGES
1. Excellent adhesion to concrete, masonry & reinforcement.
2. Increases flexural tensile and mechanical strength
3. Reduces shrinkage and water permeability
4. Improves freeze thaw resistance
5. Excelient water - resistance
6. Easy to apply and economical resistance to weathering and chemical
attack
7. Compatible with all hydraulic cements.
8. Reduces W/C ratio Increases durability and toughness.
PURPOSE: To provide water resistance to the concrete. To
make good defective concrete ideal as a bonding aid for concrete
to concrete as well as gap filling and patch pepair structural repairs
