THREE PARTS READY TO USE EPOXY MORTAR

Introduction

Conpatch EM is general-purpose epoxy mortar supplied in three components i.e Base Hardner & Aggregates in a pre weighed quantities. The product is designed to meet the requirement of high early & ultimate strength with properties of impact load resistance, abrasion resistance & resistance to mild solvents & acids.

The three-component ready to use pack consists of 8 kg in total.

AREAS OF USAGE:
1. It can be used for structural crack repair in R.C.C elements & repairs for places of load bearing importance.
2. General repair of damaged concrete, spalled concrete.
3. It is an excellent product for patching concrete floors where heavy traffic movements are seen with impact load. It is    a proven product for repairs of dams, concrete roads, bridges & runways.
4. Patching & repairs of precast elements & leveling mortar for floors.

APPLICABLE STANDARD: In confirmation with IS: 9197. Test confirmations as per IS 9162. ASTM C 818 II

PHYSICAL PROPERTIES:
· Pot Life: About 50 to 60 minutes at 30°C
· Bond capacity: 6N/mm², bond with concrete surface previously primed with Conbond EP.
· Compressive strength: 80N/mm²at 7 days. Standard lab result.
· Flexural strength: 20N/mm² standard lab result.
· Tensile Strength: 20N/mm² standard lab result.
· Pot Life after mixing: 45 to 60 minutes at 30°C depending on humidity & wind viscosity also.
· Application temperature: 5° to 45°C, however for good avoided during afternoon in summers.
· In service: -20°C to 60°C

Application Guidelines

The area to be applied with Conpatch EM should be properly cleaned using good surface preparation practice.
The surface should be primed with Conbond EP.
Base & Hardner should mixed together first in a separate container (preferably 20 kg capacity drum). Then the graded aggregates of 7 kg poured slowly in to the container & mixed with a low speed drill with paddle attachment, mix thoroughly for about 2 to 3 minutes, till uniform mixing is achieved.
Apply the epoxy mortar on the primed surface when the primer is tacky.
Finish properly with suitable means.

Packing and Coverage

PACKING: Available in 8 kg packing.
COVERAGE: 8 Kg pack will cover approx 1.25m²at a thickness of 6 to 8 mm; provide the substrace is property leveled.

Shelf Life

12 months if stored in original sealed container in dry & shaded condition.
