ACRYLIC BASED CLEAR COATING

Introduction

SAFE COAT AB is solvented acrylic resin suited for variety of applications. The product can be used as sealer of old concrete, when applied on the freshly laid concrete its works as evaporation reducer in the plastic stage of the concrete, benefiting the concrete from reduced plastic & drying shrinking cracks. Safe Coat AB seals the surface hence ensures dust proofing, with resistance to ingress of moisture, oil grease & other contimation to the concrete surface. The product bonds well with all common building material.

Benefits

1) Single pack easy brush or spray application.
2) Can be used for multiple applications; like dust proofing & surface sealer in warehouses, industrial works shop. It can be even used as coating on stone structures, plastered surface, AC sheets, Tiles etc.
3) Acrylic base & high soild content gives semi glossy to the surface.
4) Cleaning of the surface is minimized.
5) The product has resistance to ultra violet radiation hence can be used for external as well as internal application.
6) Protect the substrate from carbonation effect & prologues the ageing of the substrate.

Application Guidelines

1) Old concrete or steel surface should be made sound & dust free. Previously applied paints or coating should be properly removed before application.
2) Water jetting with mild detergent is advisable. Clean with fresh water.
3) Apply by brush or spray.
4) For freshly laid concrete apply after 15 to 20 minutes of final finish.
5) Apply second coat over night.

Packing and Coverage

PACKING: Available in 1 ltr, 5 ltr & 10 Ltr packing.
COVERAGE: Normally 1-ltr covers 9 to 10m2 but the coverage depend on substrate & texture.

Shelf Life

Safe Coat AB has a shelf life of at least 6 months provided it is kept in tightly sealed container to prevent evaporation of solvent. Store in cool & dry place.
