Extra Chemical Resistor Epoxy Based Coating

Introduction

SAFE COAT ULTRA is a premium blend of selected amine resins to give the product excellent chemical resistance property. It is repaid curing two pack epoxy coating with excellent resistance to aggressive acids, alcohols, sulphuric acid methyl, kelone & methanol. The product is most suited for internal lining of concrete or steel storage tanks, chemical bunds, chemical resistant floor & wall for aggressive chemical manufacturing units, dying units, canning factories, bottling plants & printing works.

PHYSICAL PROPERTIES:
(1) Pot Life at 30°C, 45 to 25 to 35 minutes.
(2) Touch dry 6 to 8 hours.
(3) Full chemical resistance at 30° C - 3 days
(4) Application temperature 5°C to 40°C
(5) in service - 5°C to 70°C.

Application Guidelines

1) Concrete surface should be 28 days old prior to application of SAFECOAT ULTRA or moisture content below 5%.
2) Clean the surface properly ensuring that there is no dust, laitance, grease, oil or other contaminations.
3) Defective concrete, potholes, should be repaired using CONPATCH EM or CONBOND EP PASTE.
4) Apply Safe Coat primer-2 allow the primer to dry before the application of the product.
5) Safe Coat Ultra is a supplied in two pack. Empty the same in a separate vessel & mix with a drill with paddle attachment.
6) Apply first coat by brush or epoxy roller. Apply second coat after 6 to 8 hours or overnight.

Packing and Coverage

PACKING: Available in 5 kg pack.
COVERAGE: A 5 kg pack ideally covers 9 to 10 m2 at 450 to 550 micron thickness in two coats.

Shelf Life

At least 9 months if stored in cool & dry condition in shaded area in factory sealed containers.
