AQUA SHEILD AP & AP SUPER
Polymer modified cementatious waterproof coating.

Introduction

AQUA SHEILD AP & AP SUPER is a two-component acrylic polymer modified cementitious waterproof coating. The product is specially designed to res ists wide range of temperature variance in the tropical atmosphere. The high blend of acrylic polymer used in liquid ensures that the coating has a good life even in severe condition. Aqua Sheild AP is designed for areas of moderate & heavy rainfall. Aqua Sheild AP Super is specially designed for areas of very heavy rainfall & extreme Conditions. The product is based on polymeric cement powder & white liquid.

Application Guidelines

1) The surface should be sound, clean & free from any contaminations, like oil, paints, dirt or other particles.
2) Prior to application of AQUASHEILD AP all leaks & water jets must be stopped using AQUA PLUG cracks if any should be packed with CRACKPACK.
3) The surface should be dampen by very light water sprinkle.
4) Mix powder in to liquid in a separate vessel preferably by a drill with paddle attachment.
5) Apply by brush & when the first coat is reasonable dry ( 3 to 5 hours) apply second coat.
6) Light Curing for 2 to 3 days is advisable.

Packing and Coverage

PACKING: 1) AquaSheild AP is available in
(a) 900gm powder + 450 ml liquid
(b) 2 kg powder + 1 Ltr liquid.
(c) 10kg powder + 5 ltr liquid.
2) AquaSheild AP SUPER is available in (a) 2 Kg +1 ltr (b) 10 kg + 5 ltr.
COVERAGE: 10 + 5 kg pack will approximately cover 120 to 150 Sq.ft in two coats, depending on texture & surface porosity. Normal thickness 1 to 1.5 mm in two coats.

Shelf Life

12 months if stored in sealed packing in dry conditions in a shaded area.
