AQUA SHEILD CLEAR
Acrylic Based Clear Waterproof Coating

Introduction

AQUA SHEILD CLEAR is single pack acrylic based coating based on acrylic resin & solvent. The product is very user friendly & can be applied easily by brush or roller brush. The product gives water proofing & present & dry elastic film in 24 hours by blocking the capillaries & pores of the substrace. The dry film thickness in two coats is about 100-120 micron thick. AQUA SHEILD CLEAR has to be applied without any dilution. AQUA SHEILD CLEAR has to be used to all structures which need waterproofing. The product is abrasive as well as weather resistive. Ideally suited where cementatious coating is not suited for the aesthetic look of the structure or where clear coating is required.

PHYSICAL PROPERTIES:
(1) Touch dry-2 to 3 hours at 30°C.
(2) Full & hard dry 20-24 hours at 30°C.
(3) Viscosity 230cent CPS -20-150.
(4) Specific gravity 0.880 to 0.05.
(5) Appearance: Clear & transparent.
(6) Application temperature 5°C to 40°C.
(5) In service - 5°C to 70°C.

Application Guidelines

1) Any cracks or water jets must be repaired with Crack pack or Aquaplug. The surface should be sound, clean and dried.
2) Apply AQUA SHEILD CLEAR by brush, roller or spray.
3) Apply second coat after 13 to 20 hours or overnight.

Packing and Coverage

PACKING: Available in 1,5 & 10-ltr packing.
COVERAGE: Aqua shield Clear covers approx 40-45 Sq ft per Ltr in two coats. However coverage depends on surface absorption & texture.

Shelf Life

6 months in original sealed container if stored under shade & dry conditions.
