SUPER SEAL - G
TWO PART POLYSULPHIDE SEALANT (Gun Grade)

Introduction

Superseal- G is a two-part polysulphide sealant consisting of base & hardner in per weighed quantity. The product is highly versatile with excellent capacity to with stand weathering effects. Designed application is for sealing expansion & construction joints in building, brick wall joints, and subways etc. The product confirms to BS - 4254 & ASTM C 920,1987. The film formed after curing is stiff but rubber like material, which accommodates to the structural movements of expansion & contraction. On curing it gives very good bonding with almost all-building material including stainless steel & glass.

APPLICABLE STANDARD: BS - 4254 & ASTM C 920,1987.

PHYSICAL PROPERTIES:
1. Two part (Base & Hardner)
2. Specific Gravity 1.6 kg per liter.
3. Initial setting time 6 to 8 hours at 30°C & 3-4 days at 30°C for full cure.
4. Pot life: 60 to 70 mins at 35°C

Application Guidelines

1. Ensure good surface preparation by properly cleaning the area of application.
2. Apply Superseal primer & allow drying.
3. Empty the packs of base & hardner in a container & mix properly with a mechanical mixer (slow speed electric mixer).
4. Apply with stupla & finish properly.

APPLICATION TEMPERATURE:
5 to 45°C however application to be avoided in afternoons in summer.
PRECAUTION:
Keep the material in sealed condition if possible wash hands properly after application.

Shelf Life

9 to 12 months in sealed container at temp below 35oC in dry conditions.
